The Northern Virginia Bonsai Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the art and science of bonsai.
Our club meetings and hands-on workshops feature bonsai experts from across the country as well as our own local treasures. We are a community of bonsai enthusiasts who interact to share information and advice with one another and provide feedback on one another’s trees.
Whether a complete beginner or an experienced bonsai enthusiast, you’ll find our club has much to offer.
Our regular meetings are typically held in Arlington, but the club is not limited to Arlington residents. Anyone may join: members may include residents of Alexandria, Falls Church, Fairfax, McLean, Annandale, Springfield, Washington, D.C. and Southern Maryland.
Our club is a part of the Potomac Bonsai Association: through this umbrella organization our network is automatically extended to other nearby bonsai clubs in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia. These can be valuable for learning about unique opportunities to acquire trees or other workshops of interest.
Please take a look at our calendar of events to check what we are up to this month.
